OMOBOLANLE KALEJAIYE is the Executive Director of DMC. She is also the Founder/Head of School for Discovery House Montessori School, Lekki and the Founder of Mindscapes Children’s Museum, Nigeria’s first children’s museum. She holds an early childhood Montessori diploma for ages 2.5 to 6 from National Center for Montessori Education, Houston, and an elementary diploma for ages 6 to 12 from the Houston Montessori Center, USA. She has years of experience working with children from 2.5 to 12 years. She also has significant experience facilitating and leading adult learners. She is a member of AMS (American Montessori Society).


ENIOLA HAASTRUP trained as a Chemical Engineer at the University of Lagos. She worked briefly with Dunlop Nigeria as a Management Trainee before resigning to raise a family. Her journey into the Teaching profession began in a traditional school in Lagos where she taught briefly for six months. Thereafter, she took the Montessori Teacher training (2 ½ – 6 years) at Heritage Montessori school. She received elementary Montessori training (6 – 12 years) at the Houston Montessori Centre, USA. She is the Learning Director at Discovery House Montessori School, Lekki and a member of AMS.


JACKLYN EBUBEZE is a Montessori instructor for the Early Childhood programme at DISCH Montessori Centre. With over 12 years experience in working with children, she has enjoyed both traditional and Montessori classroom environments. She worked in a traditional school for three years and was introduced to Montessori nine years ago. She took her Montessori training at Model Montessori Institute and Houston Montessori Centre.  She has worked with children from ages 21/2  to 6 (Early Childhood), 6 to 9 years (Lower Elementary) and  currently directs the Upper Elementary classroom(9 to 12 year olds) at Discovery House Montessori School. She has a diploma in Adult Education from University of Nigeria, Nsukka as well as a B.SC in Guidance and Counselling from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. She has attended several courses on child development, child protection, child education and special education, to name a few.

Ms. Jacklyn is an adventurous and fun loving person whose personality is reflected in her classroom. She sees creativity as a fun way to learn.


MEME BOHAM is AMI (Association Montessori International) trained and certified for 3 to 6 from Maria Montessori Training Organization, London. She is a firm believer in Montessori Education and a member of the AMI association founded by Dr Maria Montessori in 1920. She has worked in Montessori schools at home and abroad. She has experience in starting an infant community, in staff development and in Montessori leadership.  She believes that Montessori is not only a method of educating a child but a lifestyle.


HELEN ERIYA received her Montessori diploma for ages 21/2 to 6 from the London Montessori Centre affiliated Igbinedion Education Centre. She has over 15 years’ experience in a Montessori classroom. In addition, she has EYFS training. She is currently the Senior Nursery Leader at Bright Horizons, England. She is a member of MSA (Montessori Schools Association).


JUNNIFA UZODIKE is a 0-3 (assistants to infancy) teacher and consultant who received her AMI training at the Montessori Institute Northwest in Portland, Oregon. She received a B.Sc in Computer Science and Mathematics and a teaching certificate for Mathematics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She also has an MBA from Clark Atlanta University. Before starting her Montessori career, Junnifa worked in finance and strategy for several multi-nationals including The Coca-Cola company and Meritor Inc. She is the owner of www.nduoma.com, a board member of Je’Nisi Little Drops Academy and a member of the AMI.
